Joining New Worlds Project

Any individual above the age of 18 is able to join the New Worlds Project either as a free-to-use regular member or a paying premium member.

To join New Worlds Project, simply register an account on our website and sign the agreement confirming you agree with our terms and conditions.

For individuals under the age of 18, a legal guardian will be asked to sign the contract before the registered account can be activated.
Signing up to New Worlds Project is a very easy process. Simply create an account by filling the registration form. When you are ready to contribute to the New Worlds Project. Simply proceed to your Content Manager to request a new project, and fill out and sign a copy of our copyright license and transfer agreement.

If you are under the age of 18, we ask that your parental unit(s) or legal guardian sign your copyright license and transfer agreement.
Yes, New Worlds Project welcomes teenagers aged 13 and upwards. However, for individuals not having reached the age of maturity, we ask for parental consent due to the New Worlds Project ASBL royalties programme and copyright implications.
Great news! Regular membership is free-to-use. Regular membership, however, does not grant you any right to vote and influence the New Worlds Project association and its future plans, so we always encourage members to join the Association as a premium member. It's also a great way to support the running costs of the New Worlds Project: Communities.
Premium membership is a low-cost annual paid subscription entitling you to become a full member of the New Worlds Project non-profit association. Annual fees are set at €24,00 per year. You can cancel your membership at any time, though the membership fees are not refundable.

New Worlds Project is operated by New Worlds Project ASBL, a Belgian non-profit association which complies with applicable European, and international laws governing data privacy, and copyright.

Unlike many collaborative writing sites, we operate a royalty programme for contributors on the basis of their contributions to the products we subsequently sell. In order to be able to operate our royalties programme, we require a contractual arrangement that gives us an exclusive license on your contributors, or in the case of collaborative projects, establishes New Worlds Project ASBL as the caretaker of the shared copyright.

We, in turn, provide you a license granting you the right to establish derivative works based on the New Worlds Project setting and we also grant you a license in perpetuity to use the work you provide to New Worlds Project for your own use in portfolios or to showcase to others the skills you've acquired whilst experiencing our 360⁰ creativity.

You can access our current standard license and copyright transfer agreement in our downloads. It must be signed before you can start or join an active creative project.
Activation is nearly automatic.

Once you've registered your account and decided which of the project teams you wish to join, you will receive an e-mail inviting you to confirm your registration and your e-mail account.

Once you have confirmed your registration, you will be able to access the relevant sections of the website to participate.

A member of the Support Team will also contact you using the private messenger tool or by email to give you further details on help you get started and welcome you to the community.
